Tab just loves going for "bike walks". One afternoon as we were walking home from a friend's house, Tab got going a little fast on his bike when he hit a little bump. After a little swerving, he half jumped off, half fell off of his bike. I picked him up to calm him down. He started to settle down and then he saw the blood. And then there was hysterical sobbing. He refused to ride his bike the rest of the way home. I got the lucky job of pushing Benton on his tricycle and pushing Tab's bike all the while explaining that there was no way in this world that I could possibly carry him also. He really didn't calm down until I let him call daddy. Apparently he just felt that this was good enough of a reason to ask daddy to rush home. So of course Jason packed up at school and came home to give Tab some tough love and make him get back on his bike.
Tab thought his elbow was in pretty bad shape too. Sorry bud, not much to look at.
Here he is all cleaned up. He couldn't be prouder of his big scab on his knee. I almost worry that he would crash again on purpose just for more war wounds....almost.

P.S.- the above comments were from the original, "botched" post that looked something like this:

We are not really that mean.
Yes, Benton apparently found my computer when I had left a post in progress up and he decided to help and then publish it. What a sweetheart.
Poor Tab. I hope his "battle wounds" heal quickly.
Tell Tab that his pink helmet is extremely sexy
That's about the last thing I need to hear coming out of my 3 year-old's mouth.
The more words you give them... the more (and more frequently) they use them...
Poor guy, the good(ish) news is that won't be the last wreck, but pretty soon....... he wont mind the crashes so much. It will be cool!
