Take a Deep Breathe...this is but for a short moment

Right? Someone please tell me I'm right because I'm about to lose my top. I can't barely stand my boys right now, or for the past month that is. They are the worst behaved children I've ever seen. The don't obey, they don't do anything I think but scream and yell and throw fits and get send to their room or the corner or, or, or... I'm about at the end of end of my rope, I kid you not. I know, I know, you don't believe me, I usually just post the lovely fun stuff. But I just wanted to keep it real.

These are pictures of what is REAL and very REGULAR around our house. I just happened to have my camera right on the counter next to me and taking a picture was the only thing that kept me from crying. And just imagine Tab 2 minutes later doing the same thing. Here he is pulling on my pocket trying to get me to do something or give him something or just make me crazy, who knows. No wonder I can't get a thing done all day. I promise I will only say this once, I WANT TO GO HOME. And by home, I mean Kirksville... it has really become what I think of when I think home. Thank you for your patience, now back to your regularly scheduled "happy" blogging.

Seriously, this is not a laughing matter! I feel the same way!!!! Kids drive me nuts...why we choose to have them...I dtill don't know the answer to that. OH YEAH, it's because one day they go to school and you just have one happy little GIRL at home and you can finally do GIRL things again! Like play QUIETLY, read, watch a "singing movie"...its great! Just wait...(not beating your kids in the mean time...well, I don't know what to say about that...:o)

Jenny, that's a good and true post. I feel like that with one and I just keep saying, "day please end and I will start you over tomorrow." Luckily, chloe is very very interested in stickers and charts right now as reinforcers. Can we move back into a house together and share rent?? And...I LOVE the pirate. Love it.

I hear you! I have been pretty fed up with my girls for the past... oh... 7 months! It just seems to get worse as the time gets closer for me to deliver baby #3. Good luck. I really hope it's just a phase that goes away FAST!

I hear you!! I so hear you!! I keep telling my husband that there are other kids who whine, disobey, spend 1/2 the day in the corner. And he doesnt' believe me. They do get better. So far my 7yo is showing me they do stop whining eventually

Umm...so I think it is time for a girl's night. I'd be happy to do whatever possible to help distract you from the boys (if only for a short while...). I think we all have those days..and i am NOT looking forward to when my boys can BOTH talk back to me... Oh...and I hope that we can eventually make this feel a little more like home here...

I hear you on that, I feel like that about half the time too! I can't imagine how much harder it must be with a newborn and sleep deprivation on time of everything. Hang in there and pray your way through the day, that's what I do.

Isn't it funny how Kirksville does that to us? We're only there for a measly two years but it feels so much like home...I miss it, too!

You are living my life. Hate to break it to you---the whining only gets louder as they get older. But then they have the ability to be sent far away from you. And can tell when you are on your last. Then they all tiptoe around you and it's kind of funny.

We all go through this and really.... you wont even look back on it and laugh someday! Just remember... one day they will have children of their own and you can giggle everytime they say my kids are driving me nuts. It does get better! When they get a little older they stop fighting for your attention and start fighting with eachother which is great because they can do it in the other room. LOL J/K but seriously......
