For the first night of our stay in Kirksville we had the joy of having our best friends, the Guymon's staying in the neighboring room. Which meant we probably made a LOT of noise and had a LOT of fun hanging out. Paisley and Keturah have became great friends. (Sarah, Paisley still is asking where her ka-sarah is. As a matter of fact she is sitting on my lap right now looking at the picture and crying about it.) They had a lot of fun knocking on the door.

Graduation!
At long last...both graduation and the post!
And there were plenty of shared hugs.
One afternoon we met a bunch of friends at the park for old times sake. It was like they and we had never been apart.
These three had fun loading up the little shelf with mulch and clearing it off again. Ahhh, the simple things.
At the SAA Sr. Banquet we reunited again. There were various awards, and I was lucky enough to have people think that I had done something to deserve on of them. In case you were wondering, it was an award for Service.
A picture of the "Board" my second year, minus a few ladies who were from different years or pregnant with triplets and thought that a good reason not to travel. Sigh....
Jason grabbed this picture as the guys all had the cameras on us ladies. This is for you Mel! I love how Brad fits perfectly under Matt's arm. Although the situation could have almost as easily been reversed had Jason been the one standing there...
Outside of the Banquet with Lori Haxton, the SAA advisor. She totally rocks.
And with Janae', one of the most amazing ladies EVER. And yes, I apparently need to work on not looking so dumb in photos. But for the record, I'm not the only one with issues. Let's just say that it is a miracle Janae's eyes are open...lol. Love you Janae'.
Here I am with a bunch of the ladies at the Sr. Awards Banquet for the students.
With Jason's parents.
Just us.
Besties again.
The male version.
For the record, after graduation, we went to lunch and after lunch I lost it and balled like a freaking baby in the car the entire way back to the hotel as I know I won't see them again for quite some time as we were moving. We will miss spending the 4th of July and Thanksgiving with you guys and every other time we could come up with an excuse to visit!
Filing in for graduation.
Receiving his diploma.
Being "hooded".
MY doctor man.
And again.
A bunch of the guys.
A bunch of the ladies that made med school ROCK!
After the fact, in the Hotel, Tab found Jason's cap and was trying it on for size.
I love the look we caught before he realized we were watching him. He looks pretty happy with himself. Time to start saving for college I guess.
Then Benny wanted to join in.
Silly kid.

Survival!
We are officially living in Pennsylvania and have survived the move. We are unpacked! We still have pictures to hang and some other random organization to be considered "done" but things are starting to relax or should I say I am.
We had the most amazing ward in Grand Rapids. We had so many people show up to help with the kids and loading the truck that there were actually too many people! I have never heard of having that problem before.

I am going to play the catch up game again just a bit and then we will be current. So check back soon!

Bed Race
The city that the hospital Jason is rotating at recently celebrated it's 50th Anniversary. So the hospital hosted a "bed race" for the occasion. One of the Medical Education ladies organized a team consisting of the Kirksville Students. It was a blast. I brought the boys over to watch daddy run it.
Here they are in their pre-race parade. Each team had a theme, theirs was obviously cowboy themed.
The MedEd Adviser gave each of the boy's these cute little stick horses which they have since decided are swords. Ahh....boys.
And of course I had to take this picture for Tab. He wanted to know why daddy couldn't be on the pirate team, afterall, it was so cool.
Here they are getting ready to take off for their first race.
And here they are, completely smoking their competition in the first race.
I am happy to say that they went undefeated against the 4 or 5 other teams and won first place. Here is the MedEd Adviser holding the "trophy" or bed pan award.
And finally, the whole team.

A Night to Ourselves
Well.... sort of to ourselves. Last quarter was a pretty rough one. There were a lot of tests right on top of each other for what seemed like the entire quarter. Jason had been getting home kind of late from studying so I decided to surprise him. I fed the boys earlier and put them to bed and had dinner on the table for just he and I to enjoy by ourselves. Dinner wasn't anything super special, just broccoli calzones, but it was nice to spend it together without having to feed the boys at the same time.
We then had baked apples for dessert! Yummy yum.

StillAbration
StillAbration is probably one of my favorite activities that the school puts together for students and faculty and their families. It is an all free event. The afternoon started by us taking the boys to a bunch of kids games that they had set up. It was a cowboy/western sort of theme and it was so fun for the boys. Tab was really excited to get to wear his cowboy costume from last Halloween again. They also had horse rides for the kiddos. Tab absolutely loved it.
Benton thought it was pretty neat too.
That is until it started moving. Although for some reason the horse didn't like us so much and was being a little rowdy.
Then we ran into the Jackson or Jacks as Tab like to call him. These boys are the best of friends. I just had to snap this picture. They kill me.
Aren't they cute? Poor boys, someone should teach their mom's to buy them hats that fit.
And of course they had to go on a ride together.
Then Tab got to rope some "cattle".
The school had a big fire pit going for marshmallow roasting and so the boys got some yummy smores.
After this we had dinner, but we were so preoccupied with stuffing ourselves that I forgot to take a picture. Following dinner they had a talent show. Benton was really enjoying watching people sing and such.
Tab on the other hand was a little preoccupied telling people to stick 'em up.
After the talent show they had a dance. Benton really enjoyed it for a little while.
This is his favorite part. He loves to be upside down.
Every time I would bring him back up he would kick off of me and throw himself backwards again.
Benton and I sure had a good time hanging out.
Jason and Tab got some good moves in too.

Jason and I thoroughly enjoyed dancing together.
Believe it or not Benton fell asleep in my arms while we were dancing. He was pooped.
Luckily we had a good friend who wasn't dancing and she held Benton for us for a little while so we could enjoy a little more dancing before we headed home at the late late time of 9:00.
