Just can't get enough of this skinny minny. (Gotta love the permanently orange nose too.) She is nearing 9 months and weighs in at a whopping 13 lbs. 6 oz. thus the nickname Skinny MinnyAlways drooling...
She loves when we break out the camera.
And we oblige by taking a million pictures.
Also I just love that stinking skirt.

My Sister Rocks!
As if I needed one more excuse to diversify my crafty endeavors. My sister just HAD to go and start a jewelry/beading blog, Fashionable Finery. She has just barely gotten in started and has already posted a few tutorials. I couldn't help myself. I made this cuff the day after she posted the tutorial for it here. Heaven help me, I'm in trouble. I feel the NEED to make everything she posts. Is their rehab for people like me?

A bit of Randomness once again.
Too often, I have a lot of random pictures that I love and want to share and this post is about them.
We're kinda working on this... Kinda like I'm working on it and he enjoys wearing underwear from time to time. I'll be honest I'm not really working to hard. Just hard enough to try to pique his interest so that he will want to potty train. I would really like to be done changing his diapers and mostly I would really like to stop buying them. I mean come on, I could be spending that money on craft supplies or something...really child. I digress.
Gosh, I love her smile.
Oh and these are what I made for Tab for his Valentines this year. They are little felt fortune cookies. There is a little slip of paper inside that says, "Happy Valentine's Day - (Heart) Tab. Then I glued the fortune cookies on top of boxes of nerds.

Snow Day!
We have been dumped on a few times recently, well and all winter, but the stars aligned with this snowfall. Tab got a snow day from school and Jason was post call, meaning he had the day off to sleep, etc. So he took the boys outside to build a snowman. Lucky for me they decided to build it out behind our townhouse right in front of our basement window where I could safely take some pictures from inside!
We had some neighbor kids come running when they saw them building the snowman. They had a lot of fun. Tab and Benton look out the window to check on their snowman a couple of times a day. They whined when they saw it starting to melt and now are overjoyed as it has snowed again and they can go build him again.

GPS Truck!
The boys love pretending that this breakfast in bed tray, along with an assortment of blankets and pillows is a "GPS Truck" aka UPS truck. When we first moved here the ups guy delivered a few packages and Tab saw his truck and was in love and for some reason months and months later he loves to pretend that they are driving around a UPS truck. And it is beyond me why they call it a GPS truck. Tab can clearly tell you the letters U, P and S. However when he sees a truck on the highway or wherever he screams out that he sees a GPS truck. What a silly kid!
I took a video of them sitting around in their GPS truck the other day. It was awesome. Tab is reading Benny one of our favorite books, "The Monster at the End of this Book". If blogger wasn't being so stupid I would post it. Alas, I've tried to upload it for days now, so I'm giving up.

Randomness
I just wanted to post a few random pictures. First off, as I mentioned in a previous post. Jason recently had a birthday. Here is the birthday boy with his requested dessert filled with 29 candles. Funny story. I made him a card and on it was the number 29. He looked at it and then looked at me, and said, "Am I really 29? I thought I was turning 28!" I think he is in denial of being so close to 30. I know that I will be. And of course for his birthday, I made him fish (gag me please) and garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. But he loved it and that is all that matters. He loved the fish so much, that I'll be posting the recipe on Recipe for Disaster? The plan is to be updating that blog this week.
Some more randomness. We were visiting friends recently and Benton, who has a major shoe fetish, decided that he just HAD to wear my books. Blackmail my dear son, blackmail.
And finally, Paisley enjoying her first, ok maybe her second, Red Vine. Her daddy must love her lots to give up one of those.

"Craft Room Makeover"
I had to put the entire title in quotes because well, I use the term craft room loosely. I wish it was really just my craft room. And Makeover is also included in the quotes because I didn't spend a dime on it. I suppose I should have said reorganization. I really should have taken some before pictures. It was awful. Everything was spilling from shelves and drawers. I could never find anything when I needed it, so I would go digging perpetuating the spilling drawers problem.
It may not look like much, but I am proud of it. I would have loved to purchase the perfect containers and storage and such, but free was all that was in the budget. So, old shoe boxes had to do. I started by pulling every last crafty type thing I own from where it was and started piles on the floor. I should have taken a picture of this to. Good thing Jason didn't see all of it on the floor, he may have made me get rid of a lot. And it all ended like this!
The one set of shelves I have dedicated to my crafty endeavors.Every box and tin was labeled, that way I know where things are/go, and on more often than you would think occasion Jason goes ransacking my stuff looking for something for a project he is working on, he doesn't destroy my organization. My crafting table. I just have to point out that my sewing machine has the cover on it for the 1st time since I've owned the thing. (And probably the last time.)The majority of my scrapbooking stuff. (Notice my other "craft" table folded up under the futon. Yeah, sometimes I have so many projects going that it takes over both tables and my computer desk. *blush*) Ok, here come the shelves. All of my patterns/unfinished projects/things that need mending. All of my crocheting/knitting/needlework "stuff"All of my ribbon/thread. Jason is considering trying to make me something to store these better. Maybe for my birthday...hint hint. All of my acrylic paint/related stuffAnd finally, the random crap drawer. My goal is to not let this drawer get overgrown. Wish me luck.Like I said, it may not look all too impressive, especially compared to the amazing craft rooms a lot of people have, but I'm proud. It took a lot of time and work.
