I had just put Paisley down for a nap and came downstairs to discover this. Benton is absolutely hilarious.

Hmmm....I wonder...
Any guesses who had my camera. I'm not exactly sure where this picture was taken to make it red. I actually think that it is quite cool. Hint: The little boy who likely took this picture regularly carries around stacks of quarters. Apparently quarters are the best kind of money as they buy the coolest things. You know, like the bouncy balls at Old Navy, candy out of the machine, rides in the mall...you know, the good things in life.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
About a month ago Paisley decided that she didn't want to take a bottle anymore. We fought and we struggled but it was just one of those things we decided to chalk up to her being a royal pain. Well, the other day I went to the grocery store and came home to Jason beaming a proud daddy smile. He had gotten her to take a bottle. Now usually I'm not a proponent of bottle propping, mind you, but at this point I was just ecstatic to see it in her mouth and being consumed. Hopefully she will take one again and this wasn't just a fluke.

Sriracha Anyone!?!
bBenton is a very odd child. He likes spicy foods, very strong mints and Sriracha. We learned this when we tried using it as a punishment for the boys when they were playing at bedtime. Tab freaked out and Benton asked for more.
So I came into the kitchen/dining room and found this. He had gotten into the fridge and got out my bottle of sriracha. He climbed up into his highchair took the lid off and was drinking it. After a few good glugs he did freak a little and then wanted a drink. You would think that was the end of it, but he freaked when I tried to put it away.

Field Trip
Tab's preschool went on a field trip to Meijer Gardens. They have an awesome children's garden. Tab asked me to go, so I braved it with Benton and Paisley tagging along.
Here is his class.About half way through the gardens they had a little cabin with a fireplace so that you could warm up. They boys enjoyed the neat old fashioned toys that they had to play with.
They had this awesome statue of a horse. It was HUGE. I was in awe of how big it was. The kids really enjoyed being able to run free. Tab was jumping trying to touch the foot.

Hooray For the Jumper
I love anything that gets me a few minutes of free hands without a baby fussing. Paisley has been enjoying her jumper lately. Okay, so maybe enjoying is a little strong. But she will sit in it occasionally and jump around a little and play with the toys for a little bit. (I took the toys out of the front so that you could see her cute face.) It feels quite liberating for me when she does.

Can I have some chicken with my ketchup?
The boys were having chicken nuggets for lunch one day and while I was away doing something, and Tab decided that they didn't have enough ketchup. So he got into the fridge and got his brother and himself A LOT more ketchup. I was ticked and made Tab lick up all of the extra ketchup on his plate. Unfortunately, I though he would be affected by this punishment. That boys loves his ketchup.

Fall Drive
We decided to take the boys for a Fall Drive last Sunday afternoon to see the changing leaves. It turned out that we were a little early and didn't see nearly as many colorful trees as we were hoping. We did however take a wonderful walk in the crisp fall air.
I love this park. They had a wooden walkway through a wooded area. It was so nice to be able to go for a walk without having to worry about getting our feet all mucked up.This is probably one of my favorite pictures that Jason took. I love how Tab is in focus and the rest of the picture isn't. I have no idea how this happened, but I love it.Isn't he so dang cute?As usual, I strapped Paisley on and we enjoyed the walk too.It was so gorgeous. We loved these tree roots.Boy do I love my boys.We came across some other people out for a walk and they took a picture for us!We also saw 5 deer just off to the side of the walkway. They just stood there while we watched them. The boys thought it was pretty cool. This tree was so beautiful that we couldn't resist taking a few pictures on the way out.

Random Project
Jason one day decided that he had had it with the ugly thing we hung on our wall to hold our keys and such. He took it down and decided he was going to redo it.
So it started out looking like this. Then he took the sander to it.He even let the boys help him paint it.Then we distressed the edges, sprayed a coat of polyurethane on it and hung it up. Ta Da! I love it. I think it really turned out great and matches the rest of our "decor" a little bit better.

What Keeps us Busy?
It seems like nothing much but I have a ton of pictures of nothing much. So here you go.
First there is Miss Pais. She always prefers to be sitting up. Usually being held, but now and again she lets us but her in her seat for a bit. With Tab gone at school Paisley and Benton get to get some good one on one time. This is the opps, I got caught laying on top of my sister pose.Benton is a cute little devil. Jason took Tab and Benton to the gas station for a treat one Saturday morning. They came home with York Peppermint Patties. The Result:I think this is the favorite part. We love it when we get get a little snuggling in.The boys and their most recent Home Depot project. They made Fire House banks.
Don't worry, Paisley didn't miss out.I was helping Benton. I tell you what, that boy can swing a hammer. It is quite frightening.
The boys most recent favorite game...
Why we think our children need toys is beyond me. They BEG to play with the boxes. They build houses, grocery stores, cars, etc.
Tab was scooting around the house on his knees pretending to be Wall-E. I couldn't take it. It was just to hilarious. Again, why do we think our kids need toys?
And a video of it for your viewing pleasure. Sorry that I retarded and videoed it sideways.
And I heard a ruckus in the living room and came in to see what was going on and discovered Benton pretending to be Paisley. I got a kick out of it. At least Paisley poor disposition can provide for a good laugh now and again.

Grandma and Grandpa's Visit
Jason's parents came to visit us recently. The boys had a blast with them and I really enjoyed their much needed help. I actually got to SIT on my but more in one day than I usually get to in a week. Thanks. I hope you know how much that meant to me.
We did a few things while they were here. Most of it seemed like passing off Paisley. We also went to the Zoo.There was a mini aquarium and the boys loved it.
This was probably my favorite part. I have never actually seen an octopus before. I could have stayed and watched this guy forever.Family Photo! They had this cool drum/animal. With a little extra help with Pais, I was able to make these fun Skeleton Bones with the boys that I'd been wanting to do. Grandma and Grandpa gave the boys their Christmas presents early so that they could play with them before it got too cold. The boys loved them of course. And of course with Grandpa in town came some new sunglasses for the kids. Pais's new look. What do you think? And last but not least, my favorite picture from the week was this one. Grandpa DOES NOT do poppy diapers and Jason was changing a dirty diaper right on the floor in front of him. I just had to get a picture.
